These terms govern your use of iraava.com, operated by Iraava Travel Co. (“Iraava”, “we”). By browsing the site or sending a booking request you accept them.

What Iraava is

Iraava is a curated request-to-book platform. We list a small, hand-picked portfolio of stays across India. We are not an open marketplace: every home is visited and chosen by us, and every booking is confirmed by a person, not an algorithm.

How booking works

  • A request is not a confirmed booking. When you send a request, your dates are held immediately so nobody else can request them — but the stay is only booked once we confirm it with you and the host.
  • No payment is taken on the site. We collect no payment details at request time. After confirmation, payment is arranged directly with you.
  • Holds are honest. While your request is pending or confirmed, the dates stay blocked for you. If you cancel, they are released.
  • Rescheduling and cancellation. You can reschedule or cancel a stay from your account until the day your stay begins. Rescheduling moves your hold to the new dates, subject to availability.
  • Stay length. Stays are limited to 60 nights.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees and quoted per night. The price shown when you request is the price we confirm, unless we tell you otherwise before confirming.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate contact details — confirmation happens through them. We may close accounts used to send fraudulent or abusive requests.

House rules and conduct

Each home is someone’s property. Treat it, its staff and its neighbours with care, respect stated house rules, and don’t exceed the guest count on your confirmed booking.

Our role and liability

Iraava curates, arranges and confirms stays; the stay itself is provided by the host. To the extent the law allows, our liability in connection with a stay is limited to the amount paid for that stay. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Content

The photography, text and design of iraava.com belong to Iraava or its partners. Don’t reuse them without permission.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above tells you when they last changed materially. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
