Terms of service

These terms govern your use of iraava.com, operated by Iraava Travel Co. (“Iraava”, “we”). By browsing the site or making a booking you accept them.

What Iraava is

Iraava is a curated booking platform. We list a small, hand-picked portfolio of stays across India. We are not an open marketplace: every home is visited and chosen by us, and a person reviews every listing before it goes live.

How booking works

• You pay in full when you book. Payment is taken online through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets), and your booking is confirmed the moment the payment succeeds.
• Checkout holds your dates for 20 minutes. While you complete payment, nobody else can book them. If the payment is not completed in that time, the hold lapses and the dates are released.
• Rescheduling. You can move a paid stay from your account to other free dates of the same number of nights, until the day your stay begins. To change the length of a paid stay, message us.
• Cancellation and refunds. A paid booking cannot be cancelled online. Message us from your account or write to iraavastays@gmail.com, and we will cancel it and refund you to your original payment method through Razorpay. Banks typically take 5–7 working days to show a Razorpay refund.
• Stay length. Stays are limited to 60 nights.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees and quoted per night. The total is the nightly rate for each night plus GST (5% for rooms up to ₹7,500 a night, 18% above), shown as a separate line at checkout before you pay. Every charge is made in rupees; choosing another display currency on the site does not change what you are charged.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate contact details — your booking confirmation and receipt are sent to them. We may close accounts used for fraudulent or abusive bookings.

House rules and conduct

Each home is someone’s property. Treat it, its staff and its neighbours with care, respect stated house rules, and don’t exceed the guest count on your confirmed booking.

Our role and liability

Iraava curates stays and takes payment for them; the stay itself is provided by the host. To the extent the law allows, our liability in connection with a stay is limited to the amount paid for that stay. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Content

The photography, text and design of iraava.com belong to Iraava or its partners. Don’t reuse them without permission.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above tells you when they last changed materially. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
