Curated stays across India

Stay Beyond
the Ordinary.

Rare homes across five Indian terrains — searched live, held the moment you ask, and confirmed by a person.

How booking works

You ask for the dates.
A person answers.

There is no instant checkout here, and that is the point. Every stay on Iraava is confirmed by a human who knows the home, the host and the road in.

  1. 01

    Send a request

Sign in or make an account, pick your nights, and tell us who is coming. The account is what lets you reschedule or cancel later. No card, no charge, nothing taken at the moment you ask.

  2. 02

We hold the dates. A human confirms.

Your nights are locked in our calendar the second you request them, so nobody else can take them. A real person checks with the host and replies within 24 hours.

  3. 03

    Pay offline. Arrive expected.

Once your stay is confirmed we share payment details directly — no checkout, no surprise line items. Reschedule or cancel from My Trips any time up to check-in day.

Stays run up to 60 nights. Prices are per night, in rupees, and nothing is added at the end. Search live dates

Snow peaks catching pink-gold alpenglow above a valley filled with cloud.

Act I · Himalayas

Wake above the cloudline.

Cedar-built houses on the treeline, timber warm against the snow. Deodar mist off the Parvati, a wood stove already lit, and a whole range turning gold before you have finished your first chai.

“Snow on the windowsill.”

Why Iraava

Handpicked,
never listed.

Most platforms flatten a stay into a price and a star rating. We publish no ratings at all. Every home here was found one at a time, visited, photographed and felt before it joined us — curated for soul, not square footage.

Read our story

I

Visited before it is offered

Nobody self-lists on Iraava. We go, we stay, we shoot it, and if it is not a place we would send our own families to, it does not appear.

II

Personal by design

A real human plans every itinerary, every time. Not a chatbot, not a ticket queue — someone who has stood in the room you are booking.

III

Story-first, always

We feature places through cinematic films and writing, so you fall for a home before you arrive — not because of a bullet list, but because of how it made someone feel.

IV

Seven terrains, one map

Himalayas, Beaches & Coast, Forests, Deserts, Plateaus & Hills. Every home is filed by the land it sits in. Nothing else.

Golden-hour sun low over the sea, foam sliding up pale sand, palms at the edge of frame.

Act II · Beaches & Coast

Salt air, nothing scheduled.

Whitewashed villas under coconut palms; red cliffs with the Arabian Sea filling every window. An outdoor shower, a hammock strung for the afternoon, and the quiet end of the beach two minutes away.

“The quiet end of the beach.”

Journeys

Routes we would
take ourselves.

Seasonal packages and curated itineraries, built around when a place is at its best rather than when it is cheapest to sell — and put together by the same people who went and stayed there.

See journeys & offers

A sunlit track running into tall mixed woodland, light falling through the trunks.

Act III · Forests

Sleep inside the green.

Thirty feet up in a Wayanad canopy, wrapped in cardamom and pepper vine. Hornbills at dawn, fireflies at dusk, and a night so loud with forest you stop reaching for your phone.

“Loud with the forest.”

For Hosts & Partners

You host.
We tell the story.

If you run a home with a story — a homestay, a farm stay, a villa, an eco-lodge, three keys or thirty — we would like to see it. We visit, we film it, we write it, and we send you travelers who came for the place, not the discount.

01 · Zero upfront cost

We charge nothing to feature, photograph or onboard your property. We earn only when you do.

02 · No lock-in, no exclusivity

Keep your other listings, your direct bookings, your calendar. Leave whenever you like and keep every frame we shot.

03 · A real human replies in 48 hours

Send us the place, the location, the vibe — photos or a voice note are fine. Someone reads every application.

The Sahyadri escarpment seen from a tableland edge, flat basalt ridges dropping to a hazy valley.

Act IV · Plateaus & Hills

The high, open tableland.

Stone farmhouses on the Sahyadri tablelands, coffee cottages on the Deccan edge. Strawberry fields, silver-oak shade, the smell of drying beans — and monsoon rolling across the grassland while you watch it come.

“Sleep to absolute quiet.”

See plateau stays

The lamp-lit ghats of Varanasi rising from the Ganga at dusk, a city built onto the river.

Act V · Plains & Rivers

The slow water, and the old cities on it.

Flat country and the rivers that made it. Havelis above the ghats, courtyard houses behind a market street, a terrace over mustard fields at first light. Bells before dawn, and the day arriving without hurry.

“Wake to the river.”

Rippled Thar dunes at last light, a camel and handler in silhouette on the ridge.

Act VI · Deserts, after dark

The Thar, after dark.

A canvas suite deep in the desert — hand-block textiles, a copper bath, a deck facing the sunset dunes. Folk music over dinner, then a bed built for the coldest, clearest nights in India.
