Privacy policy

Iraava Travel Co. (“Iraava”, “we”) operates iraava.com, a curated request-to-book platform for stays across India. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and who else is involved. It is written to be read.

What we collect

  • Account details. Your name, email address, phone number and a password when you create an account. Passwords are stored only in hashed form — we cannot read them.
  • Booking requests. The stay, dates, number of guests, and any message you send with a request, linked to your account or — for guest requests — to the contact details you give us.
  • Enquiries and host applications. What you submit through our contact and partner forms: name, email, phone, and the content of your message or application.
  • AI concierge conversations. Messages you type into the “Iraava AI” chat, which are processed to answer you (see “Third parties” below).

We do not collect payment details on this site. Iraava takes no payment at request time; payment for a confirmed stay is arranged directly with you, off the platform.

Cookies

We set one essential session cookie so you stay signed in. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts on iraava.com.

How we use your information

  • To hold your dates and confirm your stay — a person reviews every request.
  • To contact you about a request, reschedule or cancellation you make.
  • To share what a host needs to receive you: your name and party size for a confirmed stay, and contact details where the stay requires it.
  • To review a property you ask us to consider listing.

We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Third parties

  • Google Firebase Authentication — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”. Google verifies your identity and shares your name and email with us; Google’s own privacy policy governs that step.
  • Google Gemini — powers the Iraava AI chat. Messages you send to the chat are processed by Google’s API to generate a reply. Don’t put sensitive personal information in the chat.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and booking records while your account exists and as long as we need them to honour stays and meet legal obligations. Email iraavastays@gmail.com to ask for your account to be deleted. Records of stays already requested or completed may be retained as booking records after the account itself is removed.

Where your data lives

On servers we operate for iraava.com, with access limited to the small team that confirms stays and maintains the platform.
